The Shuffle

Small side-to-side steps that keep you square and ready to make a save the whole time. How to push, the most a single shuffle should move you, and when a shuffle beats a T-push.

The shuffle is a small step sideways that keeps you in your stance the whole time. Your toes, hips, chest, shoulders and hands keep facing the puck while your feet slide you over a few inches at a time. It's the goalie's fine-tuning move: the way you stay lined up with the puck as it moves a little.
